Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Course
Course Description
ACLS from the American Heart Association reflects the latest science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course
Course Description
The American Heart Association PALS course presents the knowledge and resuscitation skills needed for the emergent treatment of three types of life-threatening conditions in the pediatric population: Cardiac emergencies, Respiratory emergencies, and Shock. The primary goal of PALS is to recognize life-threatening pediatric emergencies and provide prompt assessment and treatment during the initial minutes of the emergency.
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
Course Description
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program was developed by the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics to teach an evidence based approach to newborn care. The NRP course covers the care of newborns at birth and facilitates effective team-based strategy for healthcare professionals who care for newborn at the time of delivery.
