Health Educational Services is the leading provider of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED), training on the Central California Coast. Established in 1989, Health Educational Services was one of the country’s first American Heart Association Training Centers, as well as a National Training Center for Health and Safety Institute (HSI).
Health Educational Services is committed to conducting the highest quality classes both to individuals and to groups or companies in need of training. Most of our teaching staff has years of teaching experience in addition to having a medical background.
Health Educational Services has been owned and operated by Howard Main, since the company’s inception. Howard, a licensed paramedic, has nearly 30 years of pre-hospital care experience. Howard’s leadership and experience in education and emergency medicine has enabled the company and staff to be well versed in the regulatory requirements of various industries such as Licensed Day Care, Company sponsored Automatic Defibrillator use, and continuing education for pre-hospital personnel. Health Educational Services has become a trusted and well respected resource throughout the Central Coast.
With this experience and expertise, Health Educational Services has developed a full turnkey system for the purchase and implementation of Automatic External Defibrillators in the company space. The policies and procedures developed for the AED program has been used and recognized statewide.
